The Kirtland's Warbler Audubon Society (KWAS) The Kirtland's Warbler Audubon Society is a chapter of
the Michigan Audubon Society and was founded over ten years ago
in the small community of Comins Michigan, which is located on the northern range of
the Kirtland's Warbler summer breeding grounds. It's membership continues to
grow and grow with a broad group of individuals from many localities. Anyone in
the area interested in getting a glimpse of the warbler, please
email
the webmaster below. I've have been very successful this spring & summer in locating
singing birds with every trip. Limit of 1 or 2 people per trip and all trips
are on the two-track roads only. Absolutely no ventures into the woods! What's on tap at the next meeting? Kirtland's Warbler Links US Forest Service Kirtland's Warbler Page Michigan DNR Kirtland's Warbler US Fish and Wildlife Services, Ecological Services Kirtland's Warbler Pair breeds in Canada?
